DIM quest for no chrome
ok well I have posted a couple times asking how to take off different chrome parts and impact strips on my car. so far every thing is off my car it has no emblems grill or and impact strips ( fronts , sides , rear). I sand blasted the side chrome strips and they are already painted and back on the car. I have seperated the chrome strips from the paint strips for the rear of the car. but now I'm stuck on the front impact strips and grille. I cant seem to seperate the chrome from the painted part of the strips, its the same clips as the grille which i have heard ppl say they seperated. how have you taken them apart? I would appreciate any help. thanks

they are an interference fit and will more than likely break when attempting to take them off,the easiest way would be to get new ones refinish them the way you want then you wont have to worry about breaking them taking them off
