Guys I'm getting tired of all the crap being talked about on mbworld and on the m5board without 100% evidence. I know I raced a e55 and I pulled on him, it maybe that he was not an experienced driver. I want someone with a bone stock e55/e63 in New Jersey/NY who is willing to run on camera vs my bone stock m5. Settle the race battle ones and for all . Preferably someone who is well respected on the mbworld board. We can go from a stop, and then also try from a roll. This maybe the only way to recieve unbaised information.

Dude, I saw your post on M5board and I responded there. I'll respond here too.
You've only had your M5 for a couple months and you're already calling out E55's/E63's. You're asking for what gear to use for a race on M5board (http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...rs-racing.html). You do realize that you're calling out guys who have had their E55's and E63's for quite some time and know how to drive them to race you so you can post "100% evidence" about the outcome?
Please don't embarrass us M5 owners.
You shouldn't be racing. No offense, but if you came from an E350 with heavy bling bling wheels, you won't know how to drive an M5 against someone in an E55/E63 after only 2 months of owning it.
Guys, even if you do race him, please take the outcome with a grain of salt.

Just ran a M5 with Meister... Exhaust against my stock C63....can't say either of us were launching well, only have 1300 miles.
4 Runs from 0-70mph, couldn't find a better area, I took him each time by a car to 1.5 cars.

Also, I just realized that the OP is a 22 year old with a little too much testosterone pumping through his veins...
Any possible participants, I would stay very far from this kid, you don't want to end up in a wreck or in jail.
Let me give you an example, you're lined up against him and rolling at about 30mph. He'll be using S6 (traction control off) for sure with the revs very high. He guns it, breaks the rear tires loose and can't control it, guess who's next to him when he's going sideways?

Hmm, this brings chills down my spine. It reminds me of the great AmericanM5 tragedy...I suggest we either go to the track or just call it a day. Too risky, too dangerous, too much to loose. Come on guys...5 kids lost their lives a few months back in an air strip. We definitely don't want to see some of our members go down like this. Let's play it smart.

I just thought when you were passing all the red lights you were running away from me (J/K). Track sounds good, I never went to to one and I planned on going to one once this weather got a little better. I need to start looking for new tires.

You can hook up a Honda civic and make it 600hp but who cares. Your car is tuned and my car is not. Hopefully if we get a date to go to the trackwe can get a stock C63 to come also.

I know what you mean. When I first got my e55 I raced my wifes cousins M6 on roll starting from 40mph. No mater what I would lose but he downshifted manually while I just waited for the 3 honk and floored it. He was already 1 car length in front by the time my car starting moving lolol. I did beat him from a dig without a problem though lol.
+1 this kid sounds like he is bugging out. careful guys.

Mthis.....South Shore, foster.
Mockba......Word of advice. Best way to run against a "stock" E55 car is to make sure he has stock tires, exhaust, intakes, and suspension. If the car is tuned, he will break traction and go nowhere. If your M5 is SMG it's the hardest car to launch, very inconsistant, requires lots of practice and possible a new clutch before you achieve any success.
