E55 Interior color combinations
Good Evening all:
This is my first posting. I am first in line at my local (Canadian ) dealership for a 2004 e55. I am considering Pewter/Charcoal, Merlot combination.I have viewed the small pictures on the German configurator page, but would really appreciate it if anyone has a picture of a c32 or other mb with this interior combo. Thanks.

E55 charcoal-merlot
Here's an image from a magazine of an E55 with the Charcoal/Merlot combo. I like the two-tones as it separates the E55 from your run of the mill E-class. Blue or Merlot would depend on the exterior choice, but I think the Merlot looks great with Pewter or Brilliant Silver.

Cars come in many colors because tastes vary widely, but for a lux-sport-sedan I think the two toned seats (in the two colors available) look rather cheesy.
No offense to anyone who likes them.
But an E-class is a pretty conservative vehicle in almost every respect, and throwing the splash of color in the interior makes it look more like a Mini Cooper or something.
Just my opinion.

Thanks for the responses. Both mikE55 and amg55 make excellent points. (Talk about a politically correct non-answer!).
I have been driving an e320 for the last number of years and am tired of silver/light grey. Time for a change...
