Sounds nice, man.
Does it turn raspy at WOT and at the higher RPMs?
Right now I have straight pipes for reso and 2nd cats and also a gutted muffler and it gets raspy at WOT, do you think if I do muffler delete it will fix that?
I drive an E55
Thanks

Not exactly sure what you mean by "raspy." Guess that it is a somewhat relative term..... Can't say that I ever thought mine was raspy at WOT with any setup I've had, but I'll try to take a video soon at WOT so you can hear what it sounds like and decide for yourself. I think that a straight 3" pipe to tips (no muffler) would get rid of that for you, but don't do it on my recommendation alone. I am far from an expert in this field and can only comment on my different setups I've had vs. stock or anything I've heard at MB of San Diego (I've heard the new SL65 black series, the E63 and C63, and mine is much much louder than any of them by far). Really does sound like a nascar and will echo off any mountain within a mile radius .... Of course, everybody's car is different (with different mods, etc.) If you drive family around a lot, I wouldn't suggest this because it does sound absolutely obnoxious and wife/kids/girlfriend whoever will probably hate it. It is loud in the car cruising at 70 at about 2k rpms on the freeway, but I don't care..... the sound is absolutely wicked and I luv it..... no subtleties here You might need to upgrade your stereo tho if you want to hear any music at all while your driving, but the sound is enough music for me (plus I have a louder stereo anyway)

Sounds okay; probably will become aggravating to listen to after a while (at least it would for me).
But actually, CL55s do have resonators. That's what the small items near numbers 515 and 520 are - individual resonators. There just isn't a shared resonator as on the E55.

Mercedes,Porsche etc
good setup with the VRP, but I would have put bullet resonators on
to get rid of some of the rasp, and put high flow mufflers on
like REMUS or EISENMANN. and used an X-pipe,
and put the kleeman or VRP headers on with downpipe and racing primary 200 cel cat,,
but its a good start for sure..
if you want to clean up the sound a little and make it sound more euro,
the bullet resonators and mufflers will do that,,
congrats though
