When I put the car in manual mode it wont hold the gear. Like say im cursing at 40mph and put it in 2nd gear it will only hold for a second then it will put back into regular drive. Also sometimes the car wont go into manual mode at all. Ill push the button to switch from s to c and m wont even be a option. Any ideas?

 

Seems like a software issue. You should hook up a scanner and see if the transmission is throwing any codes.
