E55 - new owner
I am mainly a member of a local Chicagoland forum and since a fairly new purchase of a Silver '06 E55 AMG a few months back, I have been mainly lurking on this board. So far, I have gained a lot information on my "E" and I am looking forward to learning more as time goes on.
E55 has 27k miles and has never been driven in the snow. The only issues are, previous owner never detailed the car, so the paint needs some "love". There are some light scratches and some swirl marks (I know some very good detailers, so this is a minor issue). The other issue is the previous owner pretty much trashed the stock wheels. There is curbage on all 4 rims and you can see that a bad pothole was hit on one of them. I plan on converting the stockers to my winter wheel and I am currently looking for a new summer set.
Since I am very near LET Motorsports, I am going to have them work on my car in the spring and install some new toys. Thanks and I look forward to posting more on this board.

Congratulations!! 
The good thing about silver is that it is easier to maintain than most other colors. Just spend a day with a clay bar, wax and polish and you are good to go!
