anybody use the shift solenoids from southern hr

trying to improve 1-2 shift on 03 5 speed trans,heard southern hot rod has solenoids ,anyone use them with any luck ?

That would be nice. I drove my buddy's 63 and it felt like it shifts faster then my 55. I know it has shorter gears. Anyone notice the same? Can anyone confirm if the amg speedshift was changed?
