I was going to do the same....... $13k ...... my wife was gona kill me......
plus, my 2004 E500 can still sell about $15k -$18k in autotrader.
And i found a E55 2006 at $29k. So $29K- $15K = $14K
The $$$ is about the same but from 2004 to 2006 (2 years newer)
Plus, stock E55 is more powerfull and more reliable than the Kleemann SC
All that not to mention the E55 comes with better leather seat and break system, rims, most of them with Dynamic seat....., Quad exhaust.....

Go for the E55 !!!

 

There is no comparison, go for the E55 or another 55 AMG car such as the CL,SL or S, you open up tons of modding potential and a better overall platform to work with.

AMG does not make any 4Matic sedan as far as I know...

 

I've heard of some. In Europe or Russia though. Something about a MKB'd out CLS55 4Matic destroying everything off the line-- Evos and Scooby-roos included.

Never actually seen it though.

 

Just searched it and found it on the MKB website. Must be great to have that power putting down on all four tires. Don't understand a word besides CLS 55K 4Matic tho. Here's the page for someone who can read it.

Just found out there's also W210 E55 AMG 4Matic. It was only available in Europe tho.

well the question is a friend is selling me a kleenmann supercharger from a e500 2009 i have a 2008 e550 what are the mods that i need to do
in my car to make it work he is selling i think cheap the supercharger about 1500 dlls but my concern is about the engine ecu and transmission
wilmit blow the transmission or a piston , break a piston ? Need new eco thank you guys , i readed that it is expensive (the kit ) do you think it will worth the money and how much hp will gain . Thanks

 

I would suggest you start a new thread specific to your question.

 

If you supercharge your E500, especially such a low-mileage car, you're shooting yourself in the foot when it comes time to sell it. It'll depreciate like a stone. Enjoy it for what it is, and watch it appreciate instead.
