E63/p30/carbon fiber trim

For the sake of discussing valuations and the used E63 market...A sampling of my search results for used p30 equipped cars as of 3/22/09:

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

Now, I guess I'm not so in need of a p30 for the mechanical differences, but I sure do like the idea of having the p30 wheels and carbon fiber interior trim. I have seen teolax's used wheels, and I understand that they can occas. be found on e-bay for around $2500 new.
What about carbon fiber interior trim??? I have seen m-p designs site and understand that they are the source for OEM. I have seen PerformanceProducts website (as they are listed as the USA dealer), but the carbon bits for W211 don't show up. Am I missing other sources?

On the P30, the carbon fiber is NOT automatic, some P30 cars have it (like the white car) and the others don't appear to have it. I would definitely get a detailed carfax on all these cars. Miles are a touch on the high side for '08s. The silver car doesn't have a Pano roof. The Indium Grey car looks pretty good as does the White car, however, the cars are overpriced. Find a really nice one with the carbon fiber you want and get in it for no more than $60K. You can prolly do that here if you are ready to pull the trigger.

The P30 option is indeed a rare one. I was only able to find 3 for sale among a couple of hundred cars for sale

+1 NOT all P30 cars have the CF trim. It is supposed to be a $2,000 option from the factory. On MBUSA's website, it became part of the P30 package for a brief period of time; then it was separated again. However, you should be able to find the trim for less than half that cost from aftermarket providers.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier? I have searched this forum extensively.

I'm not wild about the beige interior on the Indium car. I'm pretty sure I need black or grey. I would prefer to NOT have the panorama roof.

My M3 lease (extension) is up mid August, but I'm basically ready to pull the trigger. I get a pretty big buzz from the search and am doing my homework while keeping one eye on the March Madness.
Thanks to this forum for all the info.!

Look at 2007 E63's, the pricing is muuuuuuuuuch better. Some of them are down in the high $40k's now, with decent miles and lots of warranty left.

I wouldn't pay $10k+ for a 1 year newer car with the same miles. There were no changes that warrant that price difference.
