We all know that thread will break down into something ugly and result in warnings, probations, and suspensions.

Will be fun to watch though.

Andy, shouldn't your sig. read "TUNER" of the Quickest/Fastest C63 in the World: 11.59@119.75 11/22/08
P30, MHP Stage 1+ (v2), MHP CF Airboxes/Filters, MHP 180F T-stat, MHP Thermalnators, MT 18" DRs
OTW: MHP v3 ECU/TCU Tuning, Full Exhaust, SFI Cert. UD Pulley

Isn't Keith's (DadsC63) car faster (11.48 ET) and quicker (121.58 mph) than your's now??? Just giving you a hard time Andy. Look forward to meeting you while in Florida to tune Keith's car....

Wow, from what I hear, this is getting interesting. DadsC63 dynoed with a "clean" MKB tune and pulled 461 rwp and 412 rwtq. Can't wait to see what MHP (Andy) has up his sleeve to top that. I can't believe there's much more to get out of these motors, but if anyone can do it, I'm sure it's Andy. Good luck guys.

If I am not mistaken all of the stock baseline numbers I have seen from C63's have been in the 375-380 range. If DadsC63 is making 461, that is a net gain of 81 hp which is line with the gains my car made with similar mods. My question is that I thought MHP had the software to bump the C's up to E & SL stock throttle opening which should result in (claimed 525hp crank), that being said I would assume Dads car should be making closer to 500rwhp or more as is my car. I started with a claimed 500 hp crank which translated into 417 on the dyno and after my headers, intake mods and ECU tune my car made 502. DadC63, I am very impressed with your car and the numbers you are acheiving at the track, you and Andy are my closest 63 competition, but, dyno numbers aside (I don't put too much faith in them), I would assume you should be running quicker than my car (N/A)) by now especially since you have had had the opportunity to run it in better conditions. Weight is a non factor my car weighs over 3900 pounds with a 200 pound driver in the car.

Basically what I am saying is if MHP can bring these cars to 525hp @ crank plus Dads headers and intake mods he should be making more ponies than my car, my tuning is based on a 500hp crank number, so I started in a -25 hp hole right off the bat yet I am making more power and running quicker times

Jim, what's happening with all the intrigue surrounding your previous tuning?
Who tuned and who didn't?

The numbers are actually a lot more tricky than that....

The stock numbers on Keith's C63 were 359 to 361 whp in 4th gear. His last dyno was 461 whp. That is a net gain of about 100 whp. His gains are with the following mods ONLY:

1) ECU tune
2) MKB Shorty Headers
3) Secondary Cat Delete

He has K&N filters and charcoal filters still in place. He is also using the stock intake boxes.

I thought your car dynoed 500 whp with the following mods:

1) ECU tune
2) Long Tube Headers
3) Primary & Secondary Cat Delete (gotta be worth 5 to 10 whp)
4) Evosport Intake Mods (good for 10 to 15 whp)
5) Carbon Fiber Air Boxes (good for maybe 10 whp)
6) Dymag wheels (good for 25 to 30 whp + better acceleration + easier braking)
7) Your car is lighter by at least 200 lbs

Conservatively speaking, if you take away 30 whp off your 500 whp for mods in listed in numbers 3 to 7, you're down to about the same level numbers he is putting down except you have long tube headers, which should at least be 20 to 30 whp more than shorties and a lighter car. At the time, you're fastest NA was 11.4x and that's exactly how fast he ran with the last MHP tune, which dynoed close to 445 whp in 5th gear.

It'd be very nice to have you guys run on the same track, same day, same time, and compare the mods. I know your car will likely be faster since you've added the lighter pulleys + light weight battery + light weight bolts + other weight savings + more intake mods + more aggressive tune. The C63 weights 4,000 lbs on the scale and I would think your car weights at least 3700 lbs.

By the way, Keith's friend dynoed his car with Kleeman K2 package tune at the same dyno place on the following day and pulled 423 rwhp. They wanted to dyno on the same day, but couldn't due to time constraints.

Now that MKB stepped in and topped Andy's tune and Kleemann's tune, things will get even more interesting We need Powerchip and RennTech to join in on this at least for the sake of comparison: same car, same dyno, same day, same conditions, but different ECUs.

As Mo said "take away your Dymags EZ 30rwhp" & you guys are neck to neck, ouch that'd make me ill having an elite CLK Black Series w/More mods + weighs less & run the same 1/4 mile as a lightly modded C63 "you're fastest NA was 11.4x " How do you figure your quicker?? Keith's (DadsC63) car ran (11.48 ET) @ (121.58 mph)
