Went to MIR today for a track rental and got quite a few passes in and was really happy with the results. Several passes I had issues with the car bouncing off the limiter on the 2-3 shift and would have been even faster times! The heart breaker was when I cut a 1.52 60' (new benz record breaking my previous 1.55) and then it bounced off the limiter several times to a 10.88 run I think it could have gone 10.69 on that pass if it was clean. Anyways, onto the numbers. I am including every time slip I have, whether it bounced off the limiter or not. All runs were pump gas and NO nitrous. I made sure to have manyyyy people check the car for a nitrous bottle and left mine at home. There is a vid proving it where I pop the trunk, film the inside, and then immediately run a 10.8x I will post the vid as soon as I get it from my friend.

Here are the passes from the day:

Worst 60' = 1.575
Best 1/8 ET = 6.919 (ran this exact 1/8 time three times!)
Best 1/8 Trap = 100.92mph

I think I'm retiring from the dragstrip for a bit. Maybe if i get some new mods I will head back but I am quite satisfied with what I have accomplished. I would really like to get a bigger TB to work on my car and install my ice reservoir and get retuned and see what it can do. Maybe even tune for race gas and nitrous and take a shot at the #1 spot

I can assure you there are no bottles anywhere in this car. There is no need "cheat" to get a record, just dedication to get to a specific goal. I know Ahmad personally and professionally, his achievements are well deserved. Congrats lil bro.

Nope. I actually ran with one CLK430 axle and one CLK55 axle lol. Stock OEM parts. I wasn't really taking a chance as I brought 2 spare axles with me haha. I was cutting very good 60's all day. I wish it hadn't bounced off the limiter on the 1.52 pass I will pm you my launch technique, which I can actually improve upon, believe it or not, once/if I get stronger axles

Haha thanks Mikey! Looks like the only 65's faster than me right now are Marko and Jody running the VRP 825 kit and they aren't faster by much. A bigger TB, ice reservoir, and retune should be more than enough... for now at least

No clue what the DA was. I posted the times of all my runs. I'm sure it was way in the negatives. Conditions were near perfect except for a bad headwind and maybe a few degrees too warm
