what area all the mods you have on your CLS - good luck bro - hope you have the camera mount on the passenger seat! this is one for the history books. i am sure you will see a ton of viper and corvettes out there. make us proud!

ECU will be fine, I assume you have removed the top speed limiter from your ECU?? Keep an eye on A/F's at the higher speeds, I assume you have an A/F gauge installed due to your nitrous??? Have you spoken with your nitrous installer/tuner about how long you can safely spray your system? I was told that my system could be safely sprayed for up to 30 second, more or less the entire run, you should be covering the mile in under 30 seconds.

Jim brings up a great point. Make sure the top speed limiter is REMOVED and not advanced. Mine is set at like 189. I don't hit it but you might!!!

Rick..... the car can take it and yes I have seen a CLS do 174mph on a large oval.

Keep one thing in mind. At those speeds, do everything very slowly. Any steering, power input can give the car a slight nudge that will send it out of control if you try to counter. That is why they say hang on hold tight and drive THROUGH it.

Speed limiter has been moved up to 205, we also installed a wideband system with the NO2..... I think I have photos here somewhere of the custom a pillar gauge pod

JRCART..What is your status? any progress on the problems?

I am no longer flying in as my pilot Buddy was in a car wreck last night woith a potential spinal fracture. He is doing well with good humor. I requested what he needs from me, and he said "Driving Lessons". Sad, he is a much better driver than I am.

I will still try to drive down Saturday in the E55. I need to test out the new thermostat and IC pump, but I am sure Texas DPS troopers are all over this event.

Funny story about today...when you had Mo contact me to try and get another #, I was in the middle of a corporate executive meeting. We were in the middle of a working lunch and I stepped out to return Mo's txt, return Alex's txt, and to connect you two. I realized that this passion of mine is a full blown illness!!! LMAO

Well not everything. It's funny that we all use you for phone numbers. I guess we know we can trust you. Yeah my boss hates cell phones in meetings! I kept one eye on the meeting and all quick fingers on my phone. I called him around 6 and he was trying to find his hotel in a town full of toothless people. LOL

Hey I'm in a room before 2am I just met the owner of Nitrouse Express, He was glad to see TEAM AMG and crew. I HAVE MET A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE . One of our form members even offered to give up one of his rooms so I had a place to stay the night, I will Thank them later again. All I can say is WOW so much bigger than I ever thought it would be. Texas is a real racing state. Hotels sold out all over the place.. I have some nice pix but it's bed time for me.. Much more to come ...

Keep us posted on how friday runs go. Looks like early mornings will be best for forced induction cars with cool temps. Hopefully the winds will not be as bad as predicted....or maybe you will be running down wind and it will help out!
