Best of luck from the AA lounge at JFK going east.
A 5 hour drive for me to Goliad but I'll have to see it on Speed.

***UPDATE****!!!!
So rick hasn't made it to the track yet this morning... his excursion is having some troubles... but he just called me and said the hell with it.. I'm driving to the track!!!
temp was in the 90's with crazy humidity! yesterday... temps are way down and they even have a huge 20 mph tail wind!!!!
Hoping to hit mid 180's with the 18's on... but pulling for 190's with the wind!
I'll keep you updated as i hear....

rick's car looks awesome in person. everybody in the waiting area were eyeing it.
hopefully he will get some good runs in during the early morning when it is a bit cold.

HEY
OK It has been one hell of a road trip
It's 12:30 am i just got into my room. I have so much to share with "YA ALL" (that's everyone in Tex talk) I can write page after page and share pic after pic. I am soooo beat so I will start the first chapter of the TEXAS MILE ADVENTURE Sunday afternoon SORRY
I would like to say that a few of the members here are KICK AZZ PEOPLE
you could't ask for more from your own family, I will explain more as I post.. I was maxed at 177mph with HRE's and VELLANO's.. By the time I finally got to the track today the wind had stopped and the heat was up,(although cooler than Friday) I did spray am 80 shot but had issues with it. I did get it sorted out but not before I ran out of Nitrous
The car will do 185 187 now that I know what needs to be done. Like I said, there is so much info to share we you guys tha it will have to be done in parts. You will all learn something
Talk to "YA ALL LATER"

I made it down to see Rick run his car on Saturday. It was the center of alot of attention it the sea of Corvettes and Cobra GT500s. Ricks is a real class act and quite the entertainer. Rick, Lisa, Steve...and I forget the camera guys name (sorry man)..they all deserve big praise for making the run over from Cali. Certainly it was/is and adventure.
The Texas Mile is not a small event! Litterally a mile of awsome cars and enthusiasts! You really need to hear these Ford GTs run if you have not. It is what a cars like that is supposed to sound like!
By the way, you can not hear Ricks car running the track. Oh, and he posted his best time with the air conditioner running! There is a luxury car for you!
I hope we can get him to come back over in the fall. Lets try to get more AMGs out there! I will run mine even if stock. Houston peeps???? I should have run my e55, but was able to hit the 155 speed limiter on a remote one mile long stretch of road (closed for testing purposes of course). As I told Rick, I have never been over the speed limit on public roads...cough cough.
Oh, and you can catch it today as they are running again!
See you all In October!
