They def detailed the mess outta that thing. It looks very good and appears to have damn near every option. If it checks out mechanically it could be a good buy for someone. I don't imagine these cars just collapse into a pile of parts over 100k..... My Camaro was rock solid to 200k, I sure hope my uber expensive AMG holds up as well..

Car looks fantastic, but I don't think that if I added all the mileage on every car I have ever owned in the 20 years I have been driving I would have as many miles as this one. OK, maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but that is high mileage.

That car reminds me of one that I worked on when I was a Volvo tech. A one year old V70R came in the shop for an oil change and when I checked the odometer the car had over 70,000 miles on it!!!! Turns out all the guy does is drive back and forth across the country and he got a new car every 1.5-2 years.

Looks pretty good to me. That's a sweet ride. I can only imagine having tooled around in that for 140K miles! Awesome. Mine had half that and didn't look as good. Can't wait till the next one!!!

It's on autotrader and cars.com for like 24000. That's not cheap....it's insane keep looking
Take it back...it's now been reduced to $21888. Still should be cheaper

That EXACT car was listed on ebay before by another seller in Cali, about 2 months ago, but showing 40,XXX miles...
Something fishy here. Maybe the dealer got stuck holding the bag on some rollback...

The more I look at it, the mileage has DEFINITELY been screwed with. WTF are those two weird lines for, either side of the mileage on the digital display?
Cars with digital odo's usually do something like that, and throw up a hidden "warning flag" on the mileage readout, when the mileage data stored permanently in the OBD system doesn't match the mileage data stored in the key or stored in the display unit. Usually only the dealer knows about it, I think it's intended to prevent warranty scams.
I know on the older SL's that I love, one single pixel in the digital odo readout will illuminate to the left of the mileage reading...that's the 'warning' on that car. You wouldn't know anything's wrong if you didn't know what it meant. The two lines are probably the warning for the E55.
I would stay faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from this car. For all you know it has 400k miles on it.

I wouldn't touch a 143K car of any kind let alone an E55.
That aside, the car has a great interior...I am a big fan of the Merlot and Blue two-tone interiors!

See, look...
This is how the E55 mileage display is supposed to look when the car is off and the mileage readout is illuminated:
And this is the picture from that eBay ad, showing the tampered cluster with the "warning":
See what I mean? I wouldn't touch that car with somebody else's 10ft pole...
