Newb Question regarding Navigation
I just bought a 2005 E55. I assumed it has navigation because of the screen on the head unit. However, when I tried to activate the navigation, it says "Navigation Device UNavailable". I assumed it was because the old owner didn't include a navigation DVD with the car, so I went to the dealer and bought a nav DVD. I am now looking in the trunk of my car, and cannot find a slot to put the DVD into.
Does this mean my car does not have navigation? I assumed that all 2005 E55s have navigation standard. Am I wrong?

I don't think Nav is standard equipment, although most e55's have it. The unit should be on the left side in the trunk. It it's not there, that probably means your car is not equipped with it. Not to worry. It can be added. Shoot a note to Steve at mbenznl@gmail.com
