It was never on for Saturday, it was Sunday the 5th if I am not mistaken. Secondly, check the forecast, they were calling for good chance of rain on Sunday the last time I checked, earlier this week they were using the S word. Thirdly Route 66 does not have any open test & tunes until the weekend of the 18th according to their web site and it is not available for rental (looked into it weeks ago).

Looks like I'm getting old. I swear I posted an update yesterday but it must have not happened.

Jr's weather prediction has improved. Instead of a 90% chance of rain, it's only a 70% tomorrow. We obviously can't compete in his BS in the rain. We are working on an alternative date. Both he and I are committed to this happening.

On a funny note, it seems the Audi folks heard of our grudge match and in the 4 different threads discussing it, misunderstood it as to be a WHEEL TO WHEEL race between the BS and the GTR in the middle of a DE. We've since cleared that up.

My Audi buddies have all heard about it, they are probably the ones that spread it on the Audi boards, they were not worried, they were looking forward to it, not sure were they got the idea about wheel to wheel, they knew it was going to go down in my BS. They are at the track right now,they said the weather is cool but sunny this morning, but tomorrow is supposed rain, 75% chance of rain tomorrow and a chance of snow Sunday night and Monday :eek:....so much for this global warming theory!
