His best run was 177 with partial NOS spray and 20 inch rims. He happened to forget to turn off the A/C on that run as well!
The other runs were in the mid to low 170's as well. He towed the car in from So-Cal. My hat is off to he and his crew for making the drive. They were/are a class act.

Also don't forget that the CLS is not the most aerodynamic of cars. 177mph is a once in a lifetime experience for many of us. I am so jealous of Rick and the way he lives his life. All positive, bro!!!

Fast as hell? YES SUPERCAR? NO ... Now a quick lesson in safety, Full speed crash What car would you want to be in? ANY QUESTIONS? 
Don't get me wrong these cars were great to see run down the strip my hats off to them all.All in All WhaT A GREAT TIME.
All the forum members that I met are 100% FANTASTIC GUYS 
We here are like family. Thanks for all the help out there and freindship.. I did spend some time with the producer of the Speed Channel and Tanner Foust, They are very fun to hang with and Tanner is even a nicer guy than he is on the show SUPERCARS EXPOSED... They do not film the fastest cars on that show just the special supercars. LOL LOL
As for my car, 200mph? yes it will do it (
) (don't ask how I know) but not in 1 mile ( YET!) Now lets just say once you understand how the TEXAS MILE works you can understand why everyone was so amazed at the CLS running 177. At first even I was like "Sh*t I suck" LOL, but once I saw the Z06's, Viper's, Lambo's and many other cars run slower MPH, Then I understood the Relm of THE TEXAS MILE. Keep an eye out on the other posts for much more info from me.. Whem I know when the SPEED CHANNEL will ait the episode I will let you all know THANKS GUYS I WAS THE ONLY MBZ running

to you for running your car out their. You have ***** to run your car at WOT for a mile when so much could go wrong.

Next Texas Mille in October of this year
The Texas Mile is run twice a year. The next one is in October. Start your planning now to be there...or at least work on a really good excuse if you will not come!
Lets get a showing of AMGs! Anything German that runs is a real show taker in teh sea of Corvettes and Mustang GT500s. The Ford GT (not mustang) is a a reall hoot to watch when they are modded. Incredible sounds! At least come watch the event if you are affraid to run your car for whatever reason!
