FMIC vs Heat Exhanger

fmic is an air to air intercooler that is used with turbo systems and remote mounted supercharger kits. The air that passes through the fins help cool the charge temp before it enters the motor.
heat exchanger cools down the fluid for air to water intercoolers. No air passes through the intercooler core on these applications (like our 55k's), so it relies on fluid to cool down the charge temp.
Hope this helps.
