Placing this poll here just because we get so much more action in this sub-forum.
The problem is I kind of like the four options I'm posting so I can't really go wrong. I just wanted to take the temperature of the water sort of speak...

2. Carbon Fiber Kit
3. Black Ash finish
4. Piano Black finish
The C/F kit is probably the most expensive option but thankfully I have no buyer's remorse. I have seen the black ash veneer finish in a couple of cars and I like the change of pace. I have the piano black finish in my E55 and that looks great, too.

In case you don't have one, there is a refinishing outfit that I have used over the years that does all the MB warranty work and they do I fantastic job refinishing to black ash. I would have to dig though so let me know.
They do not do CF or piano black, just wood finishes.

I am a big fan of C/F. I personally would get the "true" c/f kit rather than an overlay (I know it is much more expensive). But a beautiful car like yours deserves only the best! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

If they don't I'll still keep looking and mull over my options on the poll above.

I would use granite. It looks great if you can find it. I've been looking for it for my car. It was a European option and was included in the Designo packages. Gorgeous! Runs about 4000.00 dollars though.

I just saw the CF pieces and it looks great...they were done by Kirchner(?). They are going to do a test fit tomorrow. $2200 out the door, which is $500 less than getting them online.
