Sirius question
I did a search and I didn't find a definitive answer. My 06 doesn't have Sirius and I'd like to add it, but there has been some confusion as to whether or not the 06's are pre-wired. I'm going crazy without it. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe all cars with Nav (COMAND) are prewired. I'm also looking into getting SSR. You can save some loot by getting the control unit off ebay and then buying the other stuff at the dealer. Dealer wants 600 (guessing) for the control unit. You could maybe save half the cash buying the control unit on ebay.

I would like to have this as well... The "best buy" tech. told me he could do the sirius kit, nice and trick, inside my ashtray. Antenna inside dash as well.. Thinking about trying that route.. NO way, I can deal with FM module. Horrible sound quality.
My car is leased.. No way Im spending the loot, to swap the command out (if thats what is needed for factory). I'll live without it..
Will be keeping an eye on this, to see what the deal is. thanks

Yeah, I'll keep my fingers crossed to get it done. I don't really want to drop several hundred dollars for it. I may see if one of the higher end stereo shops in my area can set something up with a plug and play unit though an aux input.
