Exclamation M5board style Airfield Track in California?

I've seen numerous M5board videos showing airfield runs in an empty stretch of private road. Is there such a place in California and what is the cost? El Toro airfield is one of the places I hear.

Ah yes El Toro, just some minor info about ET. It's 16000 feet long and 200 feet wide! You could call it the California Mile 1 mile for your car to reach it's potential and the other 2 miles to slow down and save your brakes

Do any companies offer track runs on this El Toro airfield? I wonder how much it would be to rent...

It was the old marine air base that closed in 1999, right?

I think they're tearing it up and make (yet another) giant housing development out of it. The runways might already be gone...

I have been thinking about this as well. There are private air strips aren't there? It should be possible to rent one. I was even thinking of further on down the line possibly renting a section to form a new strip as we desperately need one in Orange/LA County.

We just need an organizer to gather a few high end cars from a few forums and rent a stripi for high speed runs!
