E63 headlight conversion
Hey, I just got a set of E63 headlights for my 06 E55, and was wondering if anyone knew what the parts numbers were for the E63 headlight plugs (on the chassis)? I called the dealer and was told I have to order an entire front engine harness for them, but I do not buy that. They also claimed that the headlight repair kit does not contain these plugs. Thanks for any help.
Edit: Come on, 45 views and no one knows? Is there anyone out there that can help me?

Google "e63 headlight conversion" I've read you have to get the clips and still change pins around inside it, and then something about the self leveling still not working. I considered changing my headlights, someone had a pair of xenons w/ the ballasts for 250 shipped on the forum (2 mounting clips were cracked off). Thought about just changing the reflectors, but didn't want to mess them up and have 2 sets of useless headlights.

I like the new look headlights much better than the ones on my E55. I would love to do the conversion one day, however if I lose my active leveling/cornering I don't think it would be worth it for just the look alone.

I heard you can change out the lenses to the new ones.

I think I got the plugs, we will see tomorrow when it comes into the dealer (don't want to list part numbers until I'm sure it works), but I still need pins. Does anyone have the pin out for the E55 and/or the E63?

Well, update on this. I got the plugs and pins, but I am still waiting on a wiring diagram. The plug part numbers are 211-545-11-28 and 023-545-06-26 respectively (you will need one of each per light). The pin part number is 000-540-38-05, and you will need either 16 or 18 (8 or 9 per side) to complete the conversion (waiting on the wiring diagram to confrim, but since there are only 8 wires per side on the 55, I'll go towards saying it'll probably only need 16). There is probably a cheaper part number to get these pins, but this one works, so I used it.

Unfortunately I ended up tossing it. We ended up swapping the reflectors and lenses from the 63 lights to the 55 lights. The turn signal bulbs did not quite line up, but it is hard to tell without knowing what to look for. We also swapped the LED parking lamps over with resistors.
