Thanks, I appreciate all the kind words. I put the flat amg badge on today. The front looks much cleaner now. Next step, is carbon goodness and red air scoops painted to match the calipers.
Vic, I'm not sure if these wheels are heavier then the stock wheels. Can't really tell much difference. Btw What is this egg yolk you speak of? And, how can it be eliminated?

What side markers? I painted the ones on my bumper black.

Yup, small, inexpensive detail that can yields great results. You can buy some clear bulbs that blink orange or just take out your existing bulbs and "dust" them high-temp silver/gray spray paint and then the egg yolk look goes away! It will make your headlight housing look really clean.

Your car looks sick! Those are some of my favorite wheels right now, no doubt. Good move with the flat badge, it's a must (as well as the side markers). Have you thought about a lip? I'm loving the Eurotek front lip right now for the E.
I really enjoy the contrast between the silky black paint and the shiny polished wheels. I dont know what your plans are, but if it were me, I'd not paint the wheels (at least not right now).
Nice ride!

max. car looks great!! but.. I wouldn't really call anything on this e55 "e63" but rather "w211 update". I cant wait to make my dated 2003 look like a 2009 w211! its going to be a very smart move.. a lot smarter then trading in an e55 for an expensive e63!

You can replace the egg yolk lights with "stealth bulbs"- clear when not being used, but yellow when turned on. Makes the front end look great.
I love the front of your car, looks like one mean basta#$

Vic, I took the car out last night and noticed it doesn't peel out as much from a dig with the ESP on. Although, I doubt the blacked out M5 that tried to dance with the beast last night on Macarthur could tell any different. (2 car walkage from a 15mph-80mph) To add insult to injury my friend stuck is arm out the rear window to let em know we had 3 people in the car. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

What do I replace them with? Sorry, it's my first day on the job. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

The M5 appeared to have 1 passenger. He was making a u turn so I slowed down to wait for him, he got next to me and started down shifting then he nailed it. From that point it was on like donkey kong.
