Looking for a MB dealership for a 25 point inspection. I am picking up a E55 with no warranty & going through Michael Case for the Chrysler warranty needs the 25 point inspection check list done. I have been told they could charge me $200-300 to do the inspection. It seems high, but I am only going by what I have been told. It has been recommended that I do a oil change & they will do the 25 point for free. Is that the case? I guess their reasoning is the oil change is the same price as the inspection so may as well get something done. I just hate to waste the money since the service D was just done .
I am in the San Mateo area of California.

I think your best bet is to call a few dealers and ask them if the inspection can be included with the oil change. I don't think there are many of us who uses the dealer other than for warranty repairs.

No wonder not much response. A buddy tells me that one of the dealerships is offering a free 25 point "green" inspection. He couldn't remember which dealer. I guess I will have to call each one to find out. Not even sure what "green" inspection consists of

SA Mohammad at Fletcher Jones in Fremont. Great guy, owns an E55 and know the car inside and out. Makes things soooo much easier to deal with.
