Any of you guys got experience with those large pusher RV's??

Long story short, we are renting a 37 footer for a 3 day weekend and we're thinking of towing the Benz behind us (all 4 tires off ground trailer..don't freak on me) but was wondering about towing with those.

This one has the large Ford Triton V10 in it and they claim towing load of 5000lbs. Man, 37 foot, plus another 10+ for trailer. "Mercy sakes alive.....we got us a connnnvoy" (old truckin song for you young tikes)

Can the Class A's tow a car dolly on the back??

Don't wanna roast the tranny on this RV.

I know a lot of people tow cars rolling in back and some with 2 wheels up, but I want all 4 up for obvious reason on my baby.

Thanks for any input.

Jim, I rented the same one back in 1995 to go to Silver State Classic in Nevada. We used a two wheel dolly and it towed a 3400 lbs. car with no problem.

Have fun!

My family is big into the large 45ft diesel pushers and we pull cars behind every one, but with you having a gas one, I couldn't say....

What kind of RV?

Ahh rentals are always mid range unless you wanna rent the super coaches.

Just a Forest River Georgetown. Guess I am learning on the fly. V10s are not pushers. Guess the gassers are up front.

Most dealers I called say it will be at the limit but should be fine towing behind.

Triton 6.8L V10 is Ford's best kept secret, it pulls real well and is as tough as houses but will kill you on mpg with the revs screaming...I'd try and get a Powerstroke, Duramax, CAT or Cummins equipped RV if I was after a relaxing drive...
