I have to be 2 feet in front of my garage door soo the door opens !!!
and some times I have to back up and forward again soo the signal
works
Stupid MB, and my friends 20K murano opens the door from 40 feet away
thats fustrating
any tricks to get the door opener to work from farder????

At least 50' here.
I would try relearning the code as if it is marginal, the range would be cut WAY down. Also check to ensure that the little wire antenna on the opener is extended and not just balled up.

Both my E55 and MSRT8 Homelink have range of about 50' on our garage door, and 100' on the gate to our development. Does your garage door opener remote have decent range?
