I did piano black wood but maybe a black ash wood or even carbon fiber treatment would work. I also did full alcantara headliner, A/B/C pillar, roof handles, and rear deck. The stitching was top notch. I had all roof trim dyed black (all overhead lighting enclosures).

I changed the door pins to carbon fiber. The steering wheel was changed to a performance version and the steering wheel emblem was changed.

I have pics if you want to see them...

That is the stock wood trim painted and clear coated piano black...

Whatever you do...based on my experience expect a big bill for upholstery. I'd guess for a full interior...headliner, seats, and doors you are looking close to $12-15K...depending on material and the amount of stitching you want.

Personally, I'd stick with black interior with black alcantara diamond stitching inserts in the doors and seats. You need to reskin the whole seat to get the diamond stitching in and for it to look good...

I know the guy who owns the the place i posted I have known him since he was just a foreman at a custom shop now he owns his own shop and buys ferrari , lambos , SLR's , MB's Bentleys etc. decks them out and sells them he does amazing work. Look at my photo gallery he did my whole escalade. He will do suede inserts with diamond stitching for me for 600 for the four seats. he walked me around and showed me a CLS and two Bentleys he did it was very nice looking

I went with a double diamond stitching and black alcantara. I would recommend going with authentic alcantara, I have used ultra suede in the past and found that it discolored and faded very easily. It does cost more, but it is well worth it. Here is a link a recent feature,http://www.tunerzine.com/view_articl...tion-cls55-amg

Here are some pics for reference.

I think silver carbon fiber would look great with your car's color combo. Unless you are getting the seats recovered and can use contrasting stiching there, the diamond white stiching on door panel inserts wouldn't really work, IMO.

in principle, I love Diamond stitching but mostly in leather,
I feel suede-like would be less "sporty"
.. in any case, it gives a really comfort feeling

further, I would go for single stitching and make double, so called french stitching, only on some details only
.. see this (Vision concept) and focus to the seats design

ps: IMHO, no need of contrasting stitching ... or it will result too elaborated

By suede you mean Alcantara right? The guys above have stitched alcantara, the real deal...which is $$$ more than suede.

Very nice... my other fun car has a charcoal alcantara headliner with all the hardware dyed black as well. I'll never understand why automakers put gray headliners in everything!

That diamond stitching looks sick... if I were to go that route, I'd do a darker black or charcoal stitching so it was a bit more conservative looking, and fitting of the car.

Oh, and I think brushed aluminum interior trim would look NICE... too bad it would be so insanely difficult to do...
