Yes, before and after dynos have and will be done.. We are recording every thing even before and after with pulley , spark plugs, air box.. it is the best Dyno money can buy... I even did a stock pulley vs Evosports dyno pull will let you all know more later..
All spects will be posted once the project is done..
The work is so good that even OEM style heat shields have been installed through out. LONG TUBES MAN WORK OF ART

Hey Josh Yes I was on the list for the MHP headers but we thought about it and that was just to far to let the car go. Yes the MHP headers do look good.. These headers are just to close of a fit to have them made without the car in the shop. No not the work of Cris.. But good try. Let me get all nubers in and car finished first them I will spill the data.. As for the collectors, The tech seem to know a lot about headers fabrication so I will ask about the collector choice..... THESE THINGS A BAD AZZ.....

I was going to post an opinion, but I am going to keep it to myself. It seems like I'm not the only one who seems to question just how well these messiah headers are designed and fabricated.

This is a public forum and to keep it productive I believe honest opinions to be the most valuable part of this community.

NOS #'s don't count lol....What does it put down on pump gas or even 93 octane? Me thinks
"500 hp? the first # is one digit off "
this statement is still true though more like 4XX off bottle

No nitrous #'s yet. But I will not be using a big shot as we are not sure what the bottom end can take with a 100 shot I would be in the 700+ range. We are not sure the trans and other parts will last with the added power ...

600+ rwhp without n2o??? I'm rooting for ya but I'm gonna have to see a mid to high 10 second timeslip followed by a low 10 second slip on the bottle to believe that.

Guys, he did NOT say 600 rwhp without nitrous, he just said one digit was wrong in the 500 whp estimate. Technically that means he could be in the 501 range or 550 range or a bunch of other possibilities....... I just hope he is not in the 400 range

Joking Rick...... lets see some dyno and track numbers You're leaving Josh no choice but to go ahead with the supercharger mod just to keep up with you.

MB_Forever, I think you may've misread it - the others read it correctly, from what was stated. I look forward to seeing a 600 rwhp CLS63 and the resulting timeslips it produces.

Well this is certainly getting interesting. Makes for much better reading than most of the recent threads pertaining to headlight leds, Caddie CTSV and some of the other mind numbing drivel as of late.
I had thought the 63 was limited to a maximum of 500 or so rwhp without a bottle or forced induction, unless some radical heads or cams come available. I can't wait to see my theory destroyed.

BINGO! that's the only way jrkart broke the 500rwhp zone, Dymags alone are EZ 30+rwhp

LOL.... Rick is probably getting a kick out of this

You're right, but notice he said the first number is one digit off and not the first digit is one number off. This could mean that the entire number is one digit off, which would imply that the number has one digit off or the entire number is off by one digit. And I hate to complicate things further, but since this is the online world, why not? there may be even a third possibility which is closer to what he meant than both suggested ones: there were two numbers presented, namely the 500+ rwhp and 502 rwhp figures. However, Rick said the first number.... then stated 500 hp (not rear wheel horsepower) is off. To me, it seems possible, that Rick read that post as 500 hp instead of 500 rwhp and is implying that his car is well into the 600 hp range without NOS, which is undoubtedly possible. I have to admit, 600 rwhp WITHOUT NOS or forced induction on a 63 is very hard to accomplish, but would be impressive and most definitely nice to see

Common Rick....... you've got a big audience waiting for dyno sheets now and some have already started taking bets

I dont understand why we are playing a guessing game with the power? But I will play along.. The car makes 580 at the crank (my guess ).

I know you guys wanna slam on the 63 but lets not take away the fact Jims's car has hit over 500 RWHP on several dyno's around the USA.

Wheels obviously are a huge part of the HP equation regardless of the motor.

600 RWHP (NON N2O) has never been accomplished, not even close on this motor. We have The CLK Black that produced 502-505 RWHP consistantly, off the bottle. Can Rick make 100 more RWHP with his secret project?

I think we have a failure to communicate here and it is more likely Rick is using CRANK measurements rather than RWHP. My 530hp kit gives me max 15-20hp over stock putting the car at max 430rwhp, light rims give you 20-30 more. So on a perfect day, with light wheels and just light pullies and IAT relocation a 63 can get 440RWHP and 540 CRANK. so perhaps Rick is seeing 40-50 hp from the Long Tubes??

Rick chime in bro.
