FOG LIGHT MATCH QUES 211 E55
OK, SO i KNOW THIS TOPIC HAS BEEN BEAT TO DEATH IN THE FORUMS OVER THE YEARS, BUT AFTER READING ALL THE POSTS, I STILL CANNOT FIND THE DEFINITIVE ANSWER IM LOOKING FOR.
SO HERE GOES... HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP ME. SO I JUST GOT AN 06 E55... I LOVE IT. AMAZING CAR. i PUT IN THESE AMAZING WHITISH/ BLUE HID'S 6000K AND IT LOOKS GREAT. NOW THE QUESTION IS, HOW CAN I MATCH THE FOGS WITHOUT BLINDING ONCOMMING TRAFFIC (BY JUST BUYING ANOTHER SET OF MY HID'S) AND WITHOUT MELTING OUT MY FOG LAMPS? WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IN THE WHITEISH BLUE BULB VARIETY? ANY LINKS FOR SOME GOOD WEBSITES/SELLERS? ALSO, I WENT TO THE SYLVANIA WEBSITE AND IT SAYS MY FOG LIGHT FITTING IS EITHER 9006 OR H11... ANYONE KNOW WHICH ONE AS IVE READ SOME POSTS THAT SOME PEOPLE BOUGHT THE H11 BULBS, AND THEY DIDNT FIT.
ANY AND ALL HELP WILL BE GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED, AS I WANT THIS CAR TO LOOK SICK, AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! IM SURE U GUYS ALL KNO EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN. DRIVES ME NUTS, HAVING AN UNFINISHED CAR!

Well, when people see my car (or when I look at my car), I'd rather them say, oh wow, that looks sick, rather then them saying, damnn, those are bright, and flashing their high beams at me.. Know what I mean?
And you said... "If done correctly"? Would you like to elaborate on that?
Again, I'm trying not to do the HID's... If I wanted to do the HID's I wouldn't even bother posting the ques, I'd just order another set asap... Any other sugestions fellas?

Piaa's has variety of bulbs that you might be interested..I've used their bulbs on all of my cars and loving it. Their the only one that I've known that will not burn or melt your harness not like the one they sell at Kragen or Autozone...Check them out www.piaausa.com..

good answer .. ive been looking into those... but not sure which color temp to order... i need the whiteish blue and the color temps that have that color i think is 7500k... which is a dif temp to my color at 6000k so im a little hesitant to order them. on the website they say the 6000k produces a slight purple hue to it. but the 7500k is more whitish blue. Has anyone tried these 7500k ones? anyone with pics? i want to make sure before i order them.
side note: putting in the hid is actually cheaper for me as i found a site that sells the conversion kits for $50... BUT, like i said earlier.. my low beam hid's are bright(as hell!) enough , i dont want my fogs to be as bright.
