In the "Optional Extras" section, they also offer carbon fiber mirrors and a mini carbon fiber front lip. I added up all the options in the "Optional Extras" section and it came out to be about $10,000 over a fully loaded E63. And when I say fully loaded, I mean REALLY fully loaded. So in addition to your standard well equiped E63, you add: AMG Performance Package, Distronic, Designio Interior/Exterior Package, and of course, the very expensive Designio Plus

Have you considered waiting until the new W212 E63 is released? This will drop the price of all W211 E63s a LOT...

Yeah, that is gonna be insane...I mean what are '09 E63's w/ <5kmi. going to be going for then? $45-55k?? For a 1 year old orig. $95,000 car(!) I can't believe how these thing depreciate already...Yet one more MBZ/AMG quirk that I can't entirely wrap my mind around.

The ride is definitely a little "harsher" than non P30 packages. You'll feel the car is stiffer especially when turning, but honestly, it doesn't take long to get used to.... and once you do, you'll love it

W211 will be worth it and 3 things sum up why.
#1 S+ Sport sharp, which is NON adaptive sport mode with a MUCH MUCH faster shifting than our cars.
#2 The gear box is AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! I drove the SL63 with it and it makes my gear box seam like something off a ford focus, it is really ferrari / Aston DB9 territory and I say those 2, which have VERY different gear boxes from one and other, because it is like that, very smooth when you want it to be and very aggressive when you want it to be.
#3 New better suspension.
