E55 AMG or SL500?

E55 AMG or SL500?
Which would you take? A bit biased here in this forum mind you, but the E55 does have four seats and that in dash six cd with spring loaded cover does it for me... but the SL looks 10x better on the outside...

E55 vs SL55
I guess, it depends on what you are looking for. If it is looks then go for the SL. If you looking for performance, then the E55 is the clear choice. Better yet, if you can afford it, go for the SL55 and get the best of both worlds.

Like asking whether people like to vacation at the beach or in the mountains.
I don't buy cars for their appearance.
I buy them solely for their driving chrarcteristics and interior amenities.
In fact, I rather enjoy the 'stealth factor' of the E55 as it doesn't draw attention, which I'd rather avoid (LE and otherwise).
If appearance were a big issue for me, I'd buy a Maserati coupe not an SL500.

Sl500 will draw more attention from average bystanders. E55 will draw more attention from enthusiasts. SL55 will draw more attention from both. Ignoring convertible top, E55 will be the better car once inside.
