One pump has a much lower electrical draw too.
So if you have a HE sitting around and an amp meter you can determine the best one.
Took the Bosch words right out of my mouth. Cm30`s failed like candy on my car. No way they can take any head load and the design restricts flow..

What Bosch part number was used in the test? That unit shown does not look like the premium model?

After selling close to 50 C30s, I have yet to see one fail.

Are you sure you do not have electrical problem?

Thanks for the test, but it's fundamentally flawed comparison to test a centrifugal pump under a single low load condition. Any two same size and rpm centrifugal pumps will have similar zero head flowrates. (Of course, assuming one of them is a very crappy POS)
To have a real comparison would require testing each pump having the output raised a certain amount, repeat multiple times, and plot the flowrate to graph a pump curve.
For example, at pump output level, then 1 ft elevated, 2 ft elevated, 3 feet elevated, etc, up to the point of no flow (could be about 20 feet for these little hackers) and the point where they have no flow is the output head, appropriately measured in feet.
IF (stress "If"), they have identical zero head flowrates, and one has a final greater head, that's the one you want, bc for any given head (the flowrate resistance when in service in the actual system cooling circuit), the one that has a greater output head will have a greater flow.
For example, if pump "A" has 2GPM @ ZH and a 20ft head rating, and pump "B" has 2GPM @ ZH and 15 ft head rating, and the circuit has 10 ft of head at 2 GPM, then Pump "A" will still be pushing with 10ft of head at the flowrate it gave at 10 ft of head, and Pump "B" will only have 5ft of head at the flowrate. THis is NOT an entirely accurate example, bc as you can see, as the flowrate increases, the system head will increase due to friction and turbulance, so it is not a linear relationship, but you get the idea I suppose.
Nonetheless, thanks for taking the time to do the test you did and posting it.

Haters crazy
Was that the 010 bosch pump or the older one? The 010 is the updated one and flows better...

Considering that this is a 3 year old thread that he dug up to argue about, I'm gonna guess it's the older model.

Are nitrogen filled tires worth the extra cost?!
