Went to the track!!

First timeout with the ol girl. Went to pacific raceway track tonight, it was pretty hot (+85)and the air sucked.
First pass 14.30 at 108, I went around the water brushed them off with a quick spin and loaded the converter a bit blazed the tires, would not hook, on off on off BAD. So disappointed.
Next pass I turned the dyno mode off and turned off the traction to see if this helped, I did a good hard burn out and blasted a 12.59@112 with a 1.98 60ft backed it up with a 12.57@111.9 with a 1.91 60ft I tried the dyno mode again and it spun bad but I had fun. IAT temp were alot higher than I had hoped at peak of 160 and would not get below 120 without long cool downs. So does that seem? The car is hard to race with the crappy throttle feel, its so hard to find the sweet spot of traction with letting out to much. car is stock except for separating the cooling with a 6 gal trunk reservoir.

I've ran Pacific Raceway once, although not in the E55. It was 89 degrees and was bracket racing between 4 and 6pm. I had run pretty consistent times in my first 3 runs so I figured in bracket racing I would peg it right there. Needless to say I had a crappy run and got beat.

Were you running the stock tires? I'm guessing yes since you avoided the water.

stock type, street tire. Best results were backing in the water and smoke them deep into seconed let off the break and let walk out till it starts to bog a bit. I only made 4 pass's thats not enough in this type a car to really figure out how to launch it.

What most guys do with the rear reservoir setup is add ice before the run. You would add ice until the water temperatures cool down. The first time I did this I totally underestimated the amount of ice needed. I only brought 15 lbs. of ice....!!!! I think I needed more like a 50 lbs. or more.
