Yea, it's a mental game - as I understand from those that have used it, it just pushes more gas to the engine sooner or was less throttle input. but if you slammed the gas and hit the knock down peddle its going to be just as fast. This is just a good way to waste fuel and mess things up.

ya honestly not worth the money, if you want improved throttle response remove the secondary cats and the resonator that will really give you a slight increase in responsiveness, and power. The tuff part is finding a shop that will do it, but i paid $250 to get it done

I always thought that since MBs are DBW, that Sprint Booster just remapped the ETM so the signal gets there faster and you don't get that lag feeling that all DBW throttles have? So it's not about "pushing more gas" or being any quicker at all. Just a more responsive feeling.

Am I wrong? Or are we all saying the same thing?

That is correct, it remaps the throttle.

The throttle response on the E55 was perfect for me but on 2 BMWs that I have owned (M Coupe & M Roadster with S54 Motor), remapping the throttle was the difference between enjoyable and miserable as they had slowed the throttle curve down so much.
