Should I pull the trigger?

They want $25,900 for it. Clean carfax. It has most options I want. $4,567 extra for 2 yeahs / 24,000 miles total protection plan. Should I go for it?

I dunno, I'm probably the wrong person to answer your question but I wouldn't buy one with that many miles on it. Figure the cost is really $30k plus. That extra $4.5K you'll spend for the warranty will be over pretty quick. Then you'll be out of warranty.
Is the extended a MB ELW? Or is it your local Exotic Cars Warranty?
fwiw, my MB dealer sells the MB ELW for $3590 7/75k and $4090 for 6/100K.
I think you can find CPO'd ones from the dealer with less miles for not that much more. There's a lot of them out there now.

No, no, no. These guys are masters at reconditioning cars. Just find something with less miles and pay a little bit more.
If you decide to buy the car, take it to a MB dealer and find out what the car needs right now. After they tell you, take it back to them and offer the difference.

But I'd personally pass on this one.
I tend to stay away from "Exotic" and "Fantasy" resellers......
I would pay more attention to the miles rather than the year model. I bought my 2003 E55 about 6 months ago- with only 31k miles on it. It had lower miles than most of the 04/05/06 I was looking at. Much better value IMO...I've just hit 40k last week (lots of driving the last 6 months) and I've had no problems. New front tires and I/C pump is the only things I've touched. Oh, and an oil change.
On another note, if you drive the average amount of miles, you're going to have a 100k mile E55 in a year or less. I know there's guys on here who have them but there's so many options out there these days that you shouldn't have to settle for one with such high miles. Keep looking.

Madison is a stones throw from Chicago. You should be able to find An E55 with low miles that is clean. There are quite a few in Chi-town. Low miles means it was not the daily driver, no winters salt ect, and cars like that are garage kept in most cases. Take your time and be ready when you find that 05 with 13,000 miles. Good luck!!
