Skid plate got destroyed, need a new one ASAP!

Skid plate got destroyed, need a new one ASAP!
Was driving down the 101 to Santa Barbara on friday, and the front two screws of the skid plate managed to fall out
?? WTF. My music was loud enough to where it was concealing the scraping noises, but I noticed it when I finally arrived at my destination. The front of the skit plate was hanging down and it had scraped for a good 60-70 miles. Its not TERRIBLE, but where the two front screws belong, those areas are not severely cracked and Im pretty sure im in need of a replacement. Can anybody help me out?

This happened to me in my CL55 under heavy aceleration. Pretty scary I couldn't tell what it was. I had mine towed to the dealership and they took care of it there. I'd love to see a few pictures of your K8. GL

So this is a common problem? Kinda retarded if you ask me considering at one time this car was work 95K.

Wholesale cost was like $200 and retail maybe like $350
I do agree it sucks.... We were together and literally had it fly underneath the entire car and back, get sucked up in the wind and flail around at about 120....
I could call my friend, the local parts manager if you would like (although you could probably accomplish the same thing by calling your place)
