Here is my guess. It just a 'carbon fiber' wrap and clear coated. Bontrager and Specialized did this on the outside of their bike cranks to look like carbon fiber when they were really made out of aluminum.

Not much to not like about our ETW-5 wheel, it is just a simple 3pc wheel we styled similar to a 5 spoke AMG wheel to make it look universal on all Mercedes models.

Something like this would be great! I really do need one for performance reasons. The E55 crowd tends to modify more than most so I have never understood why these parts are hard to come by????

Yeah, that diffuser is pretty cool, but very add on looking. Something like that for the E55 would need to be made from scratch, and to actually make it beneficial with testing would be very costly. In the end of the day the amount of performance gain you would see from that even with the proper testing would be minimal. But for us to do that we would need to spend a lot of money testing and developing that and the price for one would be like over $15,000 at least. Maybe you can just buy that one and make it fit the E55? lol

The big "euroteck" logo engraved in the spoke is something not to like. I think the center cap logo is sufficient, especially for wheels that are that expensive. HRE doesn't engrave their spokes, so I'm not sure why you guys decided to.

I am a big fan of the wheel, other than that. It's a nice design.

What makes you think we are tying to be like HRE? also, since they are all custom made, anyonce can jusy specify not to have the logo there, lol. its that simple and will actually just save us time! Also, the carbon wheel we cannot have the logo...
