If you don't mind me asking, how much did this all cost ?

Second, I haven't heard of Magnaflow's very much on European cars - is it true they are generally more for the American crowd ? (Not that that means they are bad, just wondering)

And as asked above, you have Magnaflow mufflers ?

Cost is as follows:

magnaflow magnapack mufflers $115 for both
pypes tips $89
3" piping and tig welding from axel back $350

Total $554

They are both import and american muscle car company, go on their website www.magnaflow.com and you will see both are catered.

I have a dual in and dual out magnaflow on a c32 amg. But the drone effect at 2000-2900 rpms sounds very loud. do you think the drone effect would be slimmer if I put two 4 inch wide magnapacks?

How loud was you drone effect??? Mine is really loud.

this thread came up from the dead. it makes me want to wake up my 06 now, lol. get them off ebay and here is the link, but I highly doubt you can use the stock AMG tips because that mufflers is a single exit so I am not sure how you would weld two AMG tips on. You will need two of them, one for each side but the part # is 14419:

Anybody have any ideas on how to reduce drone? I have c32 amg. Deleted second set aof cat and resonator. Put in a dual in dual out magnaflow. Its sounds awesome very loud and agressive but the drone effect at low rpm is intense. Any ideas on how to reduce this?????? The guy at the muffler shop said resonators but it would reduce 30% of the noise. Not sure if im going to go with it.

If you can find the room, you can have your exhaust shop add in a Helmholtz resonator(J pipe). Its essentially a capped branch off of each exhaust tube. It needs to be a certain length to match the frequency of your droning noise. The sound waves bounce off the capped end and come back into the exhaust stream inverted. Thus cancelling the droning noise frequency. The new Camaro and Pontiac G8 cars have been using these for a bit as have some of the mustang guys. Solo performance has built them into their exhaust systems.
They supposedly work great at getting rid of drone.
