e63 smoked tail lens- LA
I need a recommendation on who can smoke the tail lens on my e63? I live in LA on would like a local service.

My useless opinion here... before you do it, I recommend you getting it done either lightly, or do it where it blocks the red. The reason is because out of all the mods I ever get in trouble for. The taillight is by far the most common to get pulled over for, just because CHP always comes up from behind and they will notice it spot on. Image the fix it ticket ordeals.
Almost any shop can do this smoking, I think what Platinum Motorsports do is use VANS spray tint and they also sell it. Also Autobacs carries all of those products such as VHT Night Shades, VANS, etc.

However, not sure if there is a clear standard for what is defined as red (perhaps a light tint can pass as a dark red). My theory was that if one went for a tint rather than a full black-out it would be okay but then again that is just a theory...
