Called dealer...got price!
Well my lease is almost up on the CLK, so I called the dealer about end of lease options. Asked him by chance...."do you have any 2004 E55's on order??" He said.."yeah, I have 4 on order" So what is the MSRP for those babies?" he says....without missing a beat, "$78,000"
I didn't ask if that was with options or not.....he started to try and sell me his C32 on the lot. I quickly said NO. Damn dealer is dying to dump that C32 on me like the plague. I also asked about the CLK55 W209, he said it would be almost as much $$ as the E55. What?? Maybe my dealer has no idea....hmmmmm. Now I'm confused.

Well, seeing the disparity between these two posters, I, for one, would like to hear it directly from MBUSA. I find that salesman typically don't know much more than we do! Come on, when is someone going to report the price of the E55 from the Chicago auto show?!

Dealer must have been quoting me price with options??? It must be...I don't think $76 or $78 is that far from each other......probably xenons and CD changer.
