Where's the MAF on 55's ???

Maybe a dumb question, but I'm completely new to this engine.

I don't have my car here to look at right now (Getting front bumper redone and plate holes filled ... I hate front plates) , and I'm trying to do a little leg work on an intake design for the 55. Usually MAF's are located after the air cleaner, and before TB, but parts look up doesn't show that on the 55Kompressor so I assume it's located downstream of the SC ??? Or after the "Air Distributor".

Can't seem to nail it down on the 55's. Is it integrated into the Actuator? Air Box? Rear housing?

Is there one at all? Would be nice if there isn't one. Sure eliminates the oil fouling issues with K&N's.

There is no MAF on the W211 E55 or any orher factory 55k motors, it is speed density and runs off a MAP sensor

Thanks That's what I was figuring. No sensors all the way to the TB then?

I wouldn't be asking these questions right now but like I said, I don't have my car here to look for myself. I'm not seeing any in parts diagrams.
