Not too crazy bout the rear end of the 2010 E though, but the drive is great. Love the feature that MB come up on this car, i.e...lane changing assist, attention assist, blind spot assist and plus other optional goodies..

SLR SM has a rediculously long nose....
The motor small -think might try and fit in E55 Only 2000HP and 7,500NM torque yes 7,500. Might need a new hood for it. ha!
Ruf forget the model but its ~235 MPH 400k €
Matt paintwork popular in Euroland now but made it look plastic...

e class coupe rear...
Rear did not look as bad as I had remembered...
Also saw McLaren F1 - thats 10yrs + old and still an icon. Recently topgear did a drag race in dubai between a veyron and the F1 and the Veyron only over took the F1 at around 150mph... its probably on youtube somewhere.
The Citroen GT was there too ... had regular motor not the turbine sounding thing they have in Gran Turismo, but still sounded incredible, and looked superb.
Loads and loads of racing cars... too many to take in at once. Must have been 5 or 6 917 Porsche's from the 70's ... first one's to crack 400km/h on the Mulsanne...
Also saw the beemer 5 series concept... sort of an X6 5 series... interesting - no pics allowed sorry
R8 V10 was there, Murcialago LP670 SV final edition of this beast - all new car (and motor) next year!

The specs were pretty close the Stirling Moss is the quickest - only 1450 kg... think 217mph 3.5 0-60... (Stirling Moss had no input into its design btw just added his name).
The others ranked in between this and the stock SLR whcih I think is 3.9 and 202mph.
The SLR722s was the quickest "regular" SLR, 212 / 3.6 - all very close.
Oddly I seem to remember the power output on all these cars were the same the differential in performance was from the aerodynamics and weight.

Saw the coupe in person at the dealer yesterday, has a nice look to it. Looks like a mini-CL, I liked it. Still can't stand the sedan though. Even in person, the rear end is hideous and I hate those stupid LED's that look like LEGO's someone stuck on the front air dam. Trying a little too hard to compete with audi?
