W220/W221 S65 w/ECU Tune for the sleeper safe rocket sedan. Nothing touches the V12TT as much as I love the E55. It will also haul the family safely.
HPF Stage 2.5+ M3 for all out sports car with a manual gearbox.
Underground Racing Twin Turbo Gallardo pushing 1400 AWHP, 60-130 of 3.5 seconds(soon to be in the 2s if they didn't shift) and street tire 1/4 mile times of 9.1, wait until they add slicks. World domination never hooked, looked, or feel so good.

3: 2010' Shelby GT500 50k

Theres going to be an upcoming episode of "Pass Time" on Speed Channel that is all UG racing cars which I saw live wasn't really impressed by the lambos they must only hook on very well prepped tracks.
Here I go
1: 06' Ford GT 160K
2: 05' SL65 75K
3: 2010' Shelby GT500 50k

Their Gallardos are still AWD and hook a ton even on the street...the stats are there and verified concerning the Vbox times. No production car is coming close to their numbers. It would be nice to see that episode as not too long ago their cars were doing low 10s as they didn't up the boost as much as they run until now.

Something on TopGear here recently had a drag race between a GT2 and a Gallardo LP560 - dunno if it was a SV ... I thought the GT2 with launch control would smoke the lambo ... well the lambo has "thrust control" - at least thats what they called it on the show. Well .... the video shocked me completely... the Lambo took off and the GT2 never caught up - think they ran 1/2 a mile or so.. up to 150mph.
That gave me uber respect for the Gallardo, which I thought was just a real pretty Audi.
Found the video link of the above... http://www.tuninglinx.com/html/top-gear-videos-20.html
On the bottom left of this page.
BTW guess what happened when they timed them round their track !!??

My original choices on page 1 don't quite fit into the rules but they are close as they are "semi realistic". The guys above this post must certainly not have read about the 300k limit...
To fit the rules, and buying new as I prefer to do, my new list (all 2009s):
GT3 RS
M5
ML63

I don't like this 300k rule... I make slim pickings (most likely) compared to most people on this board, so even 300k to waste on cars is probably a pipe dream for me at this point. If I'm gonna dream, damnit I'm gonna do it big!

It's interesting how a financial constraint changes things. Lets face it no decision in life can be made without some constraint/compromise. E.g you may want to spend 300k on a motor yacht?!
Anyhow what is also interesting is how few of us actually have what we want!!!!!

SL55 AMG
Here's mine:
1) SL of some sort; hard top vert modded for sunny days (or a Gullwing 300SL 1955 classic)...the SL has always been one of my favorite examples of a marque representative car, in this case MB...the SL in a way defines the platform from the days of Moss and Fangio single seaters which conceptually spawned into the lightweight and sporty 2 seat roadsters for the European market and set the tone for a timeless concept and design, classic lines, and a car that always looks great as a marque flagship for Mercedes Benz
2) Lamborghini Murcialago LP640, stock, hardtop, not the roadster. This car is pure gorgeous; the marque has history and it's just a brilliant looking vehicle!
3) hmmmm...The daily driver in the limited 3 car garage ...well not a McLaren F1 or a Ferrari (my fav varients are 288 GT, 599, 430 Scuderia, or a classic 280 SWB) ....no maybe something as a fast sedan; yet comfortable; maybe a Bentley Continental or Mulliner...

#1 S63 ~ $90,000
#2 Ferrari Challenge Stradele $160,000
#3 GMC Yukon Denali or F350 depending on what boat I've got at the time $40,000
Realistically, to stay within the $300k cap, I would hold off for a few years to pass on the Stradele & pick up a F430 Scuderia when they drop to sub $200k.
