Something in the front of my E55 is squeaking like an old hooptys springs. I'm thinking its either my suspension or steering.
Anybody ever had this problem and know a quick fix?

The Airmatic has no springs. Maybe it's coming from another part of the suspension? I would try to rule out which corner it comes from by driving each corner over a road condition that brings it out.

sounds like a joint. check all the rubber housings for whichever side the squeaks are coming from to make sure none of them are blown, that would be your culprit.

I moved across the street from the beach a couple of months ago and am now having the same problem. I figured the salt air is drying out/rotting the bushings or something similar. Mine is coming from the driver's side and 2 different techs have been unable to isolate the problem. Let me know if you have better luck solving the mystery.

My car was making this noise and a few weeks later my left front airmatic strut blew out and the car gave me a "car too low" message on the dash. The dealer fixed it under warranty but I wonder how much this is going to cost me out of warranty?

Its the ball joints in the suspension. Costs about $400 out of warranty. I had to fix my passenger side about a month ago.

The sound is coming from the driver side also... I normally hear it when driving on uneven roads, bumps, or when I'm getting in and out of the car... It's driving me nuts..
