charge air temp sensor

Is there a factory sensor that measures post intercooler air temp. I noticed a parameter on my scan tool called "charge air temperature" but it displays voltage, not temperature like intake air temp for example.

yep. not sure what kind of data logger you have but most show it properly as "intake air temp".

+1 on the IAT PID

Yes our cars have an intake air temp sensor after the intercooler. It is located on the Y pipe below the TB

I just remember this
below 860mV is dangerous, too lean (AFR> 12:1)
above 935mV is too rich (AFR<10:1)

EDIT: sorry, I misunderstood the voltage reading you were talking about !

Ok, so it's in the intake manifold below the Y pipe? Or are you saying it's on the y-pipe? The y pipe is pre supercharger/intercooler no?

Is there then also a pre-throttlebody temp sensor? I can't seem to find one.

There is more than one "Y" pipe. The black plastic one is pre-throttlebody. Directly underneath the black one is an aluminum "Y" coming out of the intercooler, this is where the sensor is located.
Also, no there is no sensor for air temp pre-throttlebody.
