I wonder if he spun around to go back to the dealership and complain about his car not operating up to par since a regular "E Class" just beat him.

If he didn't downshift he was toast. Those F cars have to rev to make power, we don't.

I had F430 F1 for the weekend the other day, I think it is faster than my standard E55. F430 is nice but it feels soft compared to Galardo, now that is a BEAST!

F430 should be faster than a stock E55.

I'm quite sure the F430 driver didn't feel bad at all.

actually, did not really consider how the f-car driver felt/ just a simple story which was a bit of a surprise, given his acceleration/ would take a ford gt over that f-car any day; faster and handles as well, if not better

my dad F430 vs. my stage I Renntech , he would win hands down. But he does have Hyper Flowcats , x-ost muffler and filters so his car is not completely stock. As far as the F430 vs. Ford GT I have only been able to ride in a Ford Gt once. But the ford is faster, but a cheap interior , hard seats , no trunk and at the end of the day the same engine is in a $15,000 Ford lighting pick up. so it is still a Ford , I would def take the F430 over the Ford but to each his own.

hear you, but given the limited production and racing heritage of the FGT, believe it will be a collector's one day and would be a heck of a lot of fun in the interim. engines are very easy to mod, as well. f-cars are beautiful, but would take that FGT and use the balance to get a AM Vanquish S as second stable mate.

Ya true they will be worth some money one day they were going up in value for a little while but they are starting to go back down , like every thing else. Have you driven or sat in a Ford GT? Very bad visability and very uncomfortable I would personally buy a Protouring 69 Camaro if you want the muscle car feel.

yes good points rear visibility can be a bit challenging too, but just love the car

why not just trade the Vanquish S for a DBS instead of getting a Ford GT
