I am a proud owner of an '05 E55 AMG for now going on 2 months and I'll have to say it is the most fun I've ever had with a car!
Until I started looking for a car to buy, I always thought that a MB was an old man's car. Yeah, whatever, what old man doesn't like to haul a**. What was I thinking all those years?
Anyways, thanks to all that have posted in the past saying to just get the car and you won't regret it, because right now I don't believe I ever will.
Oh yeah, and get the extended warranty, did that too.

Congrats! Some friends and cousins of mine still poke fun at me for driving a "gramps" car. I think that was just a reputation MB made for themselves pre-AMG. They can laugh all they want and I can just as easily lay down a patch of rubber and leave them in the dust. It'll change their laughter from a ridiculing one to one of disbelief.
