Strange....
I was told by Cory that the E55 OEM SC is only 1.8 litre in capacity but has a 2:1 step up ratio which means it spins twice as fast as a Kleemann Autorotor which is 2.0 litres. I always thought that the E55 OEM SC made by IHI was 2.3 litres while the Kleemann V8 SC made by Autorotor was a 2.2 litre.
Can anyone research and find out the true capacity of the OEM E55 blower by posting a link to document the facts?
Vadim disagrees and thinks the E55 OEM SC is 2.3Litres since the C32 OEM SC is already 1.7 litres. He says that the OEM SC has a 1.67 female lobe rotation to 1 male lobe rotation while the Kleemann SC has a 1.5 female rotation per 1 male lobe rotation. I agree with Vadim on this but I think Cory was not talking about male to female rotation ratio but the internal gearing of the pulley to the rotor shafts.
He still owes me some measurements of both my Kleemann blower vs. Havoc (Keith's) SL55 blower to find out the truth.
I just need to know what the theoretical PSI and 80% efficiency PSI so that I don't start experiencing diminishing returns per additional lb of boost.
