For those of you who claimed that you noticed "jerking" on your supercharger, can you describe the symptom as detailed as possible and also, what was replaced to fix the problem?

from a dead stop..
put the trans is S mode.
use your right foot to press the brake.. release and use your right foot to press the gas pedal.
once the rpms start climbing you will notice a sligh hick up with a slight chirp.. Thats the jerk or chirp.
In some cars is very audible.. others not as much.
if you feel a hick up from 1st to 2nd while driving hard.. you have the S/C jerk.

to avoid the "jerk" during a stop light race.
apply brake with left foot, load the rpms with right foot to about past 1k Rpms.
This engages the clutch and the jerking will not be there (or atleast it should not be there)
The more mods you have, the more you probably will feel it.
its normal.

my car has both the jerk and belt slipping sound... i havn't tried to do anything in terms of fixing it... i don't drive very hard, so during normal acceleration you can feel a rather large "bump" and the belt making the screeching sound... it depends on how many people i have in the car/how fast i accelerate...

i agree... i didnt know the noise wasn't the belt, however that was the best way i could describe what it sounds like... regardless, i agree with you that as long as it chirps i know it's working, and i've gotten used to it so it's nothing to worry about...
