My trunk on my e63 when closed is not aligned properly it's off by a few mill how do i adjust

 

jjoma: Is the trunk powered? I know there are some springs in the panels behind the NAv player and opposite sides that can be adjusted. They have an immediate effect on the speed with which the trunk opens and closes and adjusting one side might bring both into alignment.

Otherwise, I thinx there is a set of screws you can loosen, push in/ou the trunk, and tighten again depending on if the gap is at the top close to the rear wind shield or at the bottom close to the bumper.

 

ya the trunk is powered and now my trunk will not open or close automatically

 

This should be covered under warranty mention AR60.00-P-0700-01T and have the dealer bring the alignment back into spec.
